Some remarks on criticality and thermodynamics of the dynamic phantom AdS black holes

Abstract In this paper, we discuss the thermodynamic phase-transition, thermal stability and criticality of dynamic phantom AdS black hole (BH) in presence electric charge e magnetic g . To accomplish this, construct specific heat other important thermodynamical parameters which help us to investigate criticality. The properties BH are examined by utilizing $$(C_P)$$ ( C P ) , volume expansivity $$(\beta )$$ β isothermal compressibility $$(\kappa κ Temperature vs Entropy ( T – S ), Pressure Volume P V ) Gibbs free energy G graphically. Specific against entropy describes divergency behaviour, produces second-order phase transition. We also obtain isenthalpic curves for both systems plane determine cooling heating regions Joule–Thomson expansion. Moreover, behaviour isotherm that is equal liquid/gas transition Van-Der Waals fluid exactly matched 3/8 known as a universal number. Furthermore, Swallow-tail instability small (SBH), Intermediate (IBH) large (LBH).

Some Remarks on 't Hooft's S-matrix for Black Holes

We discuss the limitations of 't Hooft's proposal for the black hole S-matrix. We find that the validity of the S-matrix implies violation of the semi-classical approximation at scales large compared to the Planck scale. We also show that the effect of the centrifugal barrier on the S-matrix is crucial even for large transverse distances.
